Safe Haven volunteers have the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge about domestic violence and its impact on the community.

Before  volunteering at Safe Haven Shelter or Resource Center, you must attend basic training. This includes an overview of Safe Haven and its services, the dynamics of domestic abuse, and volunteer policies and procedures.

While we currently are not having in-person volunteer opportunities or trainings, we are offering volunteer training over Zoom.

September training will be held on September 14, 21 & 28 from 4-5pm. You can register for September volunteer training here.

October training will be held on October 13, 20 & 27 from 6-7pm. You can register for October volunteer training here.

November training will be held on November 4, 11 & 18 from 11am-12pm. You can register for November volunteer training here.

December training will be held on December 6, 13 & 20 from 4-5pm. You can register for December volunteer training here.
