Safe Haven volunteers have the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge about domestic violence and its impact on the community.

Before  volunteering at Safe Haven Shelter or Resource Center, you must attend basic training. This includes an overview of Safe Haven and its services, the dynamics of domestic abuse, and volunteer policies and procedures.

While we currently are not having in-person volunteer opportunities or trainings, we are offering volunteer training over Zoom.

March training will be held on March 16, 23 & 30 from 4-5pm. You can register for March volunteer training here.

April training will be held on April 15, 22 & 29 from 6-7pm. You can register for April volunteer training here.

May training will be held on May 12, 19 & 26 from 11am-12pm. You can register for May volunteer training here.

Thank you for considering Safe Haven Shelter & Resource Center as a place to volunteer your valuable time and skills. We look forward to the possibility of working with you.
